Default product type
Select your default product type based on the products you sell most:

Goods
If you are selling both product types, please review that your active integrations do send the product type to Quaderno. The default product type will be used when we do not receive that information on a transaction basis.
Contacts
This section let you configure all things related to your Contacts management that will show up when creting new invoices, credit notes and other documents.
Default country
Quaderno attempts to pull your customer’s country from the transaction information, but if no country is received, then your default country will apply.
Default language
Automatic invoices will use the official language of your customer’s country. Your default language is used in the cases described here.
Documents
This section let you configure all things related to invoices, credit notes, estimates, expenses and recurring documents.
Next document number
You can add an optional prefix to your documents or change the next document number here. This applies to all documents: receipts, invoices, credit notes and estimates.
To learn about a few limitations and tricks like using
{YYYY} as prefix to include the current fiscal year, read more on Customizing document numbers.Receipt threshold
If you’d like to send receipts (simplified invoices), set the limit here. Quaderno will then generate receipts for all applicable transactions under this amount.
This feature is available for EU businesses only, read more about it on Issuing receipts or simplified invoices.
Default currency
If Quaderno receives a transaction without a specified currency, we’ll apply your default currency to the transaction.
Default payment details
If you’re sending manual invoices, you may want to include your IBAN or any other payment information. Add this information here and it will appear on all of your invoices.
Legal notes
You can add any legal notes you’d like to appear on all your documents (for example, tax exemptions).
Read Applying reverse-charge on invoices to learn how Quaderno can automatically add the legally required text for reverse-charge on the legal notes field when it applies.

Check this option if you’d like your invoice sequence to restart each year.
